1. This date must be present if the record is for a "Significant Correction Assessment" with item AA8a = 04 or 10. The date entered here is the date in item A3a (last day of the MDS observation period) from the previous assessment which is being corrected.

*2. A valid date must be present if AA8a = 04 or 10; field must be blank if AA8a = 01 thru 03 or 05 thru 09; field must be blank if AA8a = 00 and AA8b = 1 thru 5 or 7 thru 8; field may be required at State option if AA8a = 00 and AA8b = space or 6.

*3. If this date is present in the record (not blank), it must be earlier than all of following dates that are present in the record (not blank): AT6, A3a, R2b, VB2, and VB4.

*4. If present, this date must also be earlier than or the same as the current date.

5. Additional sequential date relationships involving this date are given in the consistency requirements for the following other dates: AA3 and AB1.
